Hobbins LorneHOBBINS, Lawrence 'Lorne' - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 5, 2016 at the Juravinski Cancer Hospital at the age of 83.

one to be reunited with his devoted wife Mary Lou, just in time for their 60th wedding anniversary on October 6th.

Loving Dad of Rick (Helen), Lynn, and Gary (Chris). Adored Grandpa of Nick, Miranda, Lauren, Becky, Kyle, and Jenny (Jordan).

Treasured brother of Teresa, Donna, and Barb and predeceased by 13 siblings. He will be greatly missed by Dan, Anna, and Steve.

Lorne was the retired owner of Halton-Peel Business Machines Inc.

He will always be remembered for his “Dad” humour, quick wit, and love of animals. Lorne was a dedicated fan of the Leafs and Ti-Cats.

Special thanks to Nurse Brad, Dr.’s Domenic and Kateri, and all the staff of C4 for their care and compassion.

In honour of his love for sports, his family will be wearing sports jerseys, all friends are welcome to join them. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody funeral home, Hamilton on Tuesday October 11th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 12 p.m. Private family interment will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
