LICKERS, Bruce - Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre on Sunday, January 8, 2017, in his 86th year.

Loving husband of Beverley (nee Clark) for over 61 years. Beloved father of Susan (Brian Soroka), Jim of Geraldton, Roger (Joan) of Kitchener and the late Kevin Lickers (2015).

Dear brother of Roger (Nadine), Laurel Simon (Mel Gardiner), Richard (Fran), Darryl (Karen) of Alberta, Sally Gamble (John), Colleen Gamble (late Robert) and Peter. Also survived by his grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and their families.

Predeceased by his parents James and Irvene Lickers, sister Grace Koptie (Walter) and brothers Robert and Warren (Sheila) Lickers.

Bruce was retired from Scarfe Paint Company (BASF) after 36 years of devoted service. 

Thank you to the dedicated staff at St. Joseph's Lifecare Centre, Canary Path, with special thanks to nurses, Kathleen, Beth and Janet for their care of Bruce and the assistance they provided to his family. 

Friends will be received at the Dennis Toll Funeral Home, Brantford on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. with the service to follow in the chapel at 3:30 p.m.

Donations to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre or the SPCA appreciated.
