Palango LeonoraPALANGO, Leonora 'Lea' (nee Borsellino) - Surrounded by her family, Leonora passed away peacefully on January 10, 2017 in her 88th year.

Cherished and loving wife of Arnold for 67 years. Daughter of the late Sam and Mary Borsellino. Beloved mother of Paul (Sharon), David (Donna), Arlene Falco, Carol-Anne Hoard (late Roy) and Linda Savel (David). Devoted grandma of Lindsay (Keith), Virginia (Stefan), Kassia (Bony), Jennica (Steve), Michael, Madison, Mark (Stephanie), Matthew, K.C. and great grandma of the late Blake, Nathan, Emilia, Bianca, Mason and Nolan.

Sister of Angie Peres (Rudy), the late Rose and the late Mary Speziale (Jack). Dearly missed by the extended Palango and Borsellino families. Lea was a very outgoing and energetic person who enjoyed many activities.

She will be missed by her friends in the "Mama Lea Club" who made her trips to Las Vegas memorable. Special thanks to the staff of Deerview Crossing and Juravinski Hospital for their compassionate care and support.

Visitation for Lea will be held at Markey Dermody Funeral Home on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
