EASTON, Sharon Irene - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Easton, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Sharon loved her community and worked tirelessly throughout her life bringing support and hope to people suffering with cancer, first at the Hamilton Mountain office of the Canadian Cancer Society and then as the director of the Cancer Assistance Program (C.A.P.).

She was a long-time member of the Rotary on the Hamilton Mountain.

In the last years of her life, Sharon received a great deal of support from those that she loved. Thank you Carl and Bill for your love and the many other friends who made time in their day to visit.

A celebration of her life will be held at Cresmount Funeral home on Saturday February 11 at 2:00pm.

Sharon loved to read so in lieu of flowers please send donations to Telling Tales a festival that celebrates reading by bringing classic stories to life. (www.tellingtales.org).
