BEATTIE, Lillian May - Lillian has entered that final rest of her personal Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ whom she loved and devoted her entire life and resources to.

She is predeceased by her parents Neil Beattie and Hilda (Walker) Beattie. She will be sadly missed by her good friends Lambert and Marie Baptist and their extended family, and her close personal and lifelong friends.

Lillian had a remarkable and full life of service to her fellow man, including Medical Missionary service in the Congo Republic, Africa in the early “60’s” through to her work as a Pathologist from which she retired in 1994. Her retirement years were just as busy serving on various Mission Boards and personally supporting worldwide missionary endeavours on behalf of the gospel.

Lillian’s final earthly dwelling place was Highgate Residence in Ancaster, ON and her friends and caregivers there are owed an enormous debt of gratitude for their tender and patient determination to help her live out the last steps of her journey in her “home”. We thank you.

Visitation will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel in Hamilton on Thursday, March 9th from 1 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Private interment will take place in St. Thomas, Ontario at a later date.

"Come to Me all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28.
