Baldasaro JoyceBALDASARO, Joyce -  Passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family at Juravinski Hospital on March 2, 2017 in her 88th year.

Joyce is survived by her devoted husband and friend of 67 years, Eugene. She will be greatly missed by her children Barry (Mary), Brian, Beverly (Nick) and Barbara (Hugh). Joyce was the loving grandmother of Tomas, Marco, Domini, Megan, Anthony, Reanne, Mariah, Matthew and  Philip. She will be missed by her many relatives and friends.

Joyce was a very active member of her church. She loved bowling, curling, swimming, lawn bowling, card games, and travelling with her family. She enjoyed the company of friends and family, and a good joke. In the end, knitting became a real passion for her.

Special thank you to Alice, Claudette, Hannah, the wonderful ladies at Bayshore and the doctors and nurses of F4 for all their compassion and care.

Visitation will be held at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Prayers will be held at 3 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (50 Brucedale Avenue) on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Macular Degeneration Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
