Chevalier HennyCHEVALIER, Hendrika “Henny” (nee Beintema) - Passed away peacefully at the Juravinksi Hospital, Hamilton, on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the age of 66.

Henny was a very special woman.  She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She had a kind heart and lived out the verse in Philippians 2:3 "In humility, consider others more important than yourself."  She was always willing to lend a hand to help out a friend in need, and it was her joy to spend her time helping others.

She did not have any easy life, but showed her strength through many difficult times. She was battling an unknown cancer the past few months, and she was taken from us much too quickly, but was surrounded by family and friends in her last days.

Henny was predeceased by her husband Dennis, and her father Harmen Beintema. She will be sadly missed by her mother Martha Beintema, siblings; John and Martha, Robert and Peggy, Jerry and Wendy, Rene and Joni, Fred and Ann, and Linda and Ken Maynard, as well as her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig, Waterdown on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-8 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at HAMILTON MOUNTAIN SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, 284 Concession St., Hamilton, on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment in Chatham.

We have great comfort at this time, knowing that Henny, a strong believer in Jesus Christ as her Saviour, is now at peace with him in Heaven.
We will miss you
