Parkin GaryPARKIN, Gary Ross -  Entered into rest on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Haldimand War Memorial Hospital, Dunnville, in his 76th year.

Beloved husband of Ethel (nee Schaeffer) for 54 years. Loving father to Tina Tomlinson (Neil) and predeceased by his children, Tammy and Robert. Dear grandfather of Colin and Ocean-Lee.

Also survived by his sister, Pat Peirson (Larry) and his brother, John (Lois, deceased). Predeceased by his four brothers and their spouses. He will be sadly missed by the Schaeffer family and fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Gary retired from Baycoat after 29 years of service and volunteered for many years as a Scout Leader. He was a founding member of the Allis Chalmers Club of Ontario and is well known through out the many antique societies in the area. He will also be remembered for his love of music, singing and his long time involvement in many choirs.

Visitation will be held in the Miller Funeral Chapel, Caledonia on Tuesday, March 14th from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. followed by the service in the chapel on Wednesday, March 15th at 1 p.m. Interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Scouts Canada, (York, ON, Chapter), St. Paul’s Anglican Church, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
