Cino EliaCINO, Elia - (1931 - 2017) - Suddenly on March 17, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital in his 86th year.

Predeceased by his wife Vita Giovanna Lentini and survived by his companion Lucia Ionni.

Elia will be immensely missed by his children Rose Brucculieri (Tony) and Sam Cino (Kim). Proud Nonno of Diana, Julia, Rachel, Erica, Jacob and Sammy.

Survived by his siblings Rosa (Giuseppe) Cicero, Gaspare (late Anna) Cino, Marietta (the late Calogero) Mantione, the late Carmelina and Francesco Sferrazza, Nicola (Angela) Cino, Salvatore (Giuseppina) Cino and the late Giuseppe (Clara ) Cino, brothers-in-law Salvatore Lentini (Nina) and Nicola Lentini. Also sorely missed by many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends both in Canada and Italy.

Elia was predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Rosa Cino and his in-laws Luciano and Diega Lentini.

He was a longtime dedicated Dofasco employee and retiree.

Visitation at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, "William J. Markey Chapel", 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Tuesday from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and from 6:00 - 9:00 pm. vigil Prayers at 7:30pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, 1694 Upper James Street, Hamilton on Wednesday, March 22nd at 10:00 am. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

For those who wish, memorial donations made to the Heart & Stroke or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
