MOFFATT, Frances Muriel (Riley) - At St Joseph’s Lifecare, Brantford on April 11, 2017 in her 96th year, beloved wife of the late Canon Gerald E. Moffatt (2003).

Mother of Michael (Sharon) of Winnipeg; Peter (Suzanne) of Brantford; Mary Beth Moffatt-Sinclair (Don Sinclair) of Scarborough; David (Carol) of Dundas; Anne Moffatt (John Black) of Bloomfield. Sister of Florence Riley of Orillia. Grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of seven.

Predeceased by son James Lawrence (2012), her parents Charles Edward and Jane Phoebe (Gale) Riley and sisters Dorothy Barker, Althea Willmott, Ruth Decker and Shirley Mitchell.

Cremation has taken place. A requiem and interment will occur at the Chapel of St. James-the-Less, 635 Parliament St., Toronto at a future date.

Special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre and of Seasons Bell Lane for their kind care in her final years. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund, 80 Hayden St, Toronto, M4Y 3G2, to Christ Church Anglican, Box 667, Campbellford, Ontario, K0L 1L0 or to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation, 99 Wayne Gretzky Parkway, Brantford, Ontario, N3S 6T6 would be appreciated by the family.
