POTTER, Bishop David Kennedy - At the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, April 16, 2017 in his 74th year, David Potter, beloved husband for 50 years to Erlene Potter. 

Loving father of Michael (Nicole) and Mark Potter.  Dearest brother of Marion (Steve) Smith and Gloria Jean (Ed) Baxter.  Much loved grandfather of Mitchell and Liberty.  Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

Dave was a retired employee of American Can – Ball Packaging, Simcoe, where he worked for 39 years; was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Bishop for the last 5 years.

Family and friends will be received to pay their respects at the McCleister Funeral Home, Brantford on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. and at the Church on Friday from 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. 

Funeral Service at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Friday at 1:30 p.m. 

In celebrating Dave’s life, we ask that if you have a red article of clothing, that you would wear it to the service, as it’s Dave’s favourite colour.  A private family interment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery on Saturday. 

If wished, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society gratefully appreciated.
