Steenbeck TonySTEENBECK, 'Tony' Winfred - May 15, 1968 - July 11, 2017

Tony was welcomed into Jesus’ loving arms surrounded by family and friends at the age of 49.

He will be dearly missed by his wife Betty (Elizabeth) and sons Derek and Kyle. Beloved son of Andrew (Enne) and the late Ina (Klazina) Steenbeek; son-in-law to Bert and Ann Dykerman.

Dear brother of Mike (Mary-Jo) Steenbeek and Sonya (David) Wonder. Brother-in-law to the Dykerman family: Gerald (late Joanne; partner Janice Gallant), Eddy (Janet), Bernie (Pat), Wilma, Linda (Charlie) Burns, Rob. Tony absolutely loved being an uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nephews and his great-niece.

Tony will be remembered by friends and family for his courage, tenacity, and his gift of encouragement.

The family especially thanks Tony's cancer treatment team, CCAC, the CBI nurses and the amazing staff at Steadman Community Hospice.

Visitation will take place at Ancaster Christian Reformed Church, 70 Garner Rd. E., from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm on Friday, July 14. All are welcome to join us at the Caledonia Cemetery for the committal service at 9:30 am on Saturday, July 15 and the funeral service at Ancaster CRC at 11 am with refreshments to follow.

As a former fundraiser, Tony would appreciate you donating to a cause close to your heart, the Cancer Society or Steadman Community Hospice.
