For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Marrazzo FrankMARRAZZO, Frank Libero - (July 21, 1944 - March 3, 2018) -

Beloved husband of Mary (nee Chorkawyj) for 52 years. Loving son of Virginia and the late Mario Marrazzo. He is survived by his cherished children Mario (Marisa), Mark (Leanne), and Frank Jr.

Proud grandfather to Frank - Anthony, Dante, Paten, Elyse, Daryl, Mason, Lauren, Arianna and Giulia. Treasured brother of Alida Di Paolo (Dr. Leo).

Doting uncle of David (Lori), Danielle (Harry) and Gian Francis (Kimberly). Loved nephew of Umberto Spadafora, Maria Cosco, Emilia Filice, Ida Paone, Laura Piccirillo and Barbara Cherubin.

Frank did not go gently into that good night. He fought valiantly to overcome his illness, but in the end his irrepressible spirit succumbed and he died peacefully with his loving family by his side.

Visitation at Bay Gardens funeral home, 947 Rymal Road East, Hamilton on Wednesday from 2-5 and 6-9 pm.

A funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of the Assumption Church (63 Hwy 20 East) on Thursday, March 8th at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff of the Juravinski Centre for their compassionate care.
