For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

BULGER, Mary Edna - Peacefully at Extendicare Hamilton on Sunday, March 11, 2018.  Mary (nee Wilkin) Bulger of Hamilton, in her 93rd year.

Beloved mother of James (Arlene), Gordon, Lauren Foote (James), Jeanne McCallum (Brian), Elaine Moore (Darryl) and Rhona Trott.  Loving grandmother of Corinne, Dustin, Nathan, Cloud, Sylvan, Reuel, Gaelan, Kama, Caaleb and Aleya and many great grandchildren.  Dear aunt of  Gail, Louise and Jeff, Diane and Janet.  Predeceased by sisters Audrey Stott and Velma Sitter and Bessie Wilkin. 

Mary retired from the University of Toronto (Erindale College) and was  well loved by her  many friends and colleagues.

The family wish to extend their thanks  for the many years of care and kindness Mary received at Extendicare. 

A gathering to share memories of Mary will be held at the home of James and Arlene in Burlington on Saturday March 17, 2018 from 3-5 p.m. Following cremation the committal will take place.
