For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

PATRIQUIN, Philip Blain - Philip passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord, at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, on Monday, March 12, 2018, in his 76 th year.

Beloved husband of Barbara. Loved father of Randy (Lisa), Mindy Patriquin, Mark (Sheri), Stephen (Linda) and predeceased by Rodney. Cherished grandfather of Garrett, Alisha, Bridgette, Mason, Amy and Kevin. Will also be lovingly remembered by his step-children; Leianne (Hal), Jeffrey (Christine), Andrew (Wanita), Paul (Lori) and their children.

Dear brother of Marleys (Deceased), Carolyn, Gail, Cindy and Greg. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be held at The Salvation Army Mountain Citadel, 835 Stonechurch Road, Hamilton on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice, would be appreciated by the family.
