We Regret to Announce That We Have Had to Discontinue

For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Sponsors are welcome to participate and support HamiltonObituaries.com by advertising (i.e., local funeral centres, cemeteries, monument suppliers or local businesses, ...we would also include your Banners and Direct Links to your websites) – please  contact us for info!

Participating Funeral Centres will be prominently Featured; within their Region, and within the Obituary Notices, including Links redirecting viewers to your Websites.

We are continuing to publish notices to DurhamObituraies.com …  and also for now, TorontoObituaries.com and HaltonObituaries.com

Thank you for visiting our website.

We plan to have the 9 other Regional Websites back on-line soon!

Luzi AngeloLUZI, Angelo - In his 91st year Angelo decided to answer the call when Heaven said it needed another crane operator so, peacefully, in his sleep, he joined his devoted wife of 64 years, Loreta (pre-deceased 2015).

Proud father of four sons and their partners John (Maria Pia), Sergio (Marilyn), Tom (Giulia), Dan (Barbara).  Nonno of Andria (Allen), Angelo, Daniel (Mackenzie), Frankie (Nicole), Sebastian (Ashlee) and Bisnonno to Anastasia.

Angelo is survived by siblings Filippo Luzi, Maria Baldini, Anna Pavoni all of Hamilton and Vincenza, Rosina, Giuseppina, Lino and Giuliana all of Italy. Survived also by in-laws Nick Sienna (Luciana), Santa Mariani, Maria Pierini, Antonietta Taormina (John) of Hamilton and the USA.

Angelo retired from Stelco after serving over 40 years and was a long time resident of the Stoney Creek community. With age and illness he became a resident of St Joseph's Villa in Dundas six years ago and was most content sitting on the balcony with his children during their weekly visits.

The family wishes to extend thanks and gratitude to all the staff of Trillium Lane for their care and compassion in dealing with our father.
