For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Kolozetti SlavkoKOLOZETTI, Slavko - Slavko's story began on July 19, 1925 in a small village called Banovac in Croatia. He was the third child of the late Josip and Kata Kolozetti.

Predeceased by his sister Marica and brother Petar. Much loved by sister Olgica of Croatia and brother Vlado (Nada) from Barrie. He leaves wife Veronika of 67 years and will be sadly missed by his daughter Sanda Boric (Mike) and son Kreso (Helen), friends and family in Canada, Croatia and Germany.

Slavko will be dearly missed by all his grandchildren; Tomislav (Mariana), Sonya (Steve), Adam (Misty), Katrina (Ryan), Dean (Desiree), his great-grandchildren; Ante, Katarina, Adriana, Dean, Evy, Teigan, Ben, Charlotte, and another one on the way, they always brought twinkle in his eyes and he had great love for all of them.

Visitation at  Markey-Dermody Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. with Vigil Prayers at 7:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East, on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow.

Donations to Holy Cross Church would be greatly appreciated.
