We Regret to Announce That We Have Had to Discontinue

For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

HANDZIUK, Nancy "Nanc" - Unexpectedly at the age of 67 on Sunday, June 10th, 2018.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald Handziuk (2012). Loving mother of Caralyn (Scott) Coulson, Jeff (Maria) Mill and Justin (Alexandra) Mill. Much loved Gramma of Corbin, Connor, Ryan, Alexander, Benjamin, Trent and Iain.

Dear daughter of Jan (Casey) Huisman and sister of Sharon (the late Roger) Patry, Doug (Penny) Kranz, Christine (Robert) Gardner and Steven Huisman. Predeceased by her father Norman Kranz and sisters Karen and Judy and her goddaughter and niece Claire. She will also be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.

A passionate volunteer in her community with a special focus on her fellow senior citizens in her later years and a long time employee of RBC.

At Nanc's request cremation has already taken place and friends will be received at the Beckett - Glaves Family Funeral centre on Thursday, June 14th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 1:00 p.m.

Donations to the Lung Association of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
