Passed away peacefully at The Meadows LTC facility in Ancaster, Ontario on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 in her 90th year. Kit left us to be reunited with the love of her life, Melvin (Mel) after 9 years & 37 days apart.

Kit leaves to mourn, her children, Carol-Anne (Ken Lawrence), Wesley (Jahn) Colling, Sandy (Don Freeman) and Bonnie (Scott McCoy). Kit was delighted to be “Granny” to Kevin & Robert (Julie) Fox, Geoff (Jaclyn) Colling & Rochelle (Kyle) McLean, Vicky (Brad) Freeman & Kelly (Rob) Peck and Amy (Ryan) Taylor & Sean (Amanda) McCoy. She was also Great-Granny to 14 great-grandchildren ranging in age from 12 years to 2 months.


Tiffin RichardTIFFIN, Richard "Pudding Face" - (1949 - 2017) - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8th, 2017 at the Brantford General Hospital.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.


WAZNY, Mary - After a brief illness with family by her side on March 7, 2017 in her 98th year.

Beloved wife to the late Walter. Loving mother to Jean Cuk, Chester, Helen Cox, Zygmund (Lyn), Joseph (Gail) and the late Irene Goodale.

She will be dearly missed by all her grand children, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.


Agnew JackAGNEW, Jack Bruce - Peacefully in his sleep on March 7, 2017 in his 95th year. 

He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Marion Louise and his grandson Scott.  He will be sadly missed by his children Ron (Sonia), Rick (Fran), Ruth Boag, and Rob; and his grandchildren Amy (Jason), Rees, Brandon, Katie, Jessica (Mitch), Ryen, Kelly and Stacey; and his great-grandchildren Lincoln, Quinn and Jack. 

He served in the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII and was an employee of Canadian Westinghouse for more than 44 years. 

Special thanks to the staff at St. Peter’s at Chedoke, Cedar Terrace for their outstanding care and compassion. 


VAN EVERY, Bernice Mary (nee McDougall) - A lifelong resident of Stoney Creek, Bernice passed away at the Cawthra Gardens Long Term Care Centre, Mississauga on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, in her 94th year.

Loving mother of Louanne Capello (Bryon) and Kathy Lightstone (Steve). Cherished grandmother of Matthew (Shannon), Megan (Tyler), Emily, Rachel and great grandmother to Lily.


VANDYKE, Bruce Wellington - Peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on March 7, 2017, with his daughter Linda by his side in his 88th year. 

Beloved husband of the late Ruth (2002).  Loving father of Linda and loved grandpa of Brooke, Erin and Taylor. 

Bruce loved his race cars, snowmobile and also accomplished his private pilot’s license.

Waller HarryWALLER, Harry Gordon -  June 21, 1924 – March 7, 2017

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harry Waller at St. Peter’s Residence, at the age of 92 years. 

Much loved son, brother, husband, father, papa, great papa, uncle, great uncle, neighbour and friend. Harry was born in Hamilton to Harry & Lillian. He was predeceased by his much loved siblings Tom ad Dorothy and by his beloved wife Do (2012).  

Loving father to Jane (Ron), and the late Harry Jr (2007) (Linda).   Caring Papa and great Papa of Mark, Corey, Chris, Casey (1998), Maddy, Logan and Parker.  He also leaves behind his much loved nephews Jim & Bob Patterson, Tom Jr (2016) and David Waller and their families in California and Hamilton.

Cranston HowardCRANSTON, Howard Grant -  It is with heavy hearts that the family of Howard Cranston announce his peaceful passing on early Saturday morning, March 4th, 2017 after a brief fight with cancer.

Born in Carluke, Ont. on May 15, 1933, to Grant & Naomi, Howard lived his entire life farming and serving his community.

Married to Bernice (Lovering) in 1955 they have shared 62 years of wonderful memories. Cherished father of Marie (Dale) Smith & Doug (Joan). Much loved grandpa of Krista (Justin) Laposi, James (Melissa) Cranston, Aaron (Michelle) Smith, Kendra (Andrew) Hunt.
