Predeceased by her Husband Victor and Grandson Brent Hewings. Dearest and so loved by her son Victor (Kathy) and daughter Patti (Bill).

Cherished Gram of John (Nikki), Kristin (Brad), Victor (Christa), Matthew (Kristy) and Nadine (Rob). Loved, admired and respected by twelve Great-Grandchildren who called her GG, Jessie, Nathan, Jacob, Mitchell, Lucas, Trinity, Hayden, Lauren, Brandon, Zachary, Emily and Brayden.

Predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Jack (2013) and son Robert (2009).  Loving mother of Michael (Dawn) and David (Karen) and proud grandmother of Evan, Justin, Matthew, Cara, Philip, Christopher,Steven and Shawna. 

Feisty is the word often used to describe Lucille, never afraid to give her opinion and this shone through the haze of her dementia. 

Lucille loved her home and garden, she made the world's best butter tarts. She was a talented seamstress, and also loved to travel the country, in early years, with Jack and 3 little boys in tow. 


RANKIN, Edward Norman “Sam” - Peacefully, and surrounded by family at Macassa Lodge on April 27, 2017 at the age of 84.

Loving and dear husband of Katherine (Kay) for 56 years. Loving father of Luanne (Dave), Bonnie (Terry), Debbie (Ed), Theresa (Frank), Caroline (Pat) and Rob (Stephani). He cherished his 16 grandchildren who brought him joy and delight.


CARTER, Shirley Mildred - Peacefully at Village of Glendale Crossing, London, Shirley passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in her 90th year.

Loving mother of the late Mike Millar, the late Bob Millar, and Terry Millar (Eunice). Dear sister of Betty Moore. Cherished grandmother of Dakota, Sabine, and Petra, and great-grandmother of Phoenix, Tatiana, Raelyn, Surya, and Isaiah.


Telfer Doreen

TELFER, Ruby Doreen (nee Boyer) - Peacefully passed away, Thursday, April 27, 2017, at her home in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, in her 88th year.

Doreen was predeceased by her husband, Bill (William) Telfer in 1976, her twin sister Doris Feeney (nee Boyer) in 2003 and brother-in-law Thomas Feeney in 2004.

She is survived by her two loving nieces Lorie (Denise Hawkins nee Feeney) and Debbie (Loreen Gendron nee Feeney). She will be greatly missed by all of her family and many friends. 


FRENCH, Marshall - June 12, 1918 - April 27, 2017 After a full life of almost 99 years, Marshall has left all of his adoring family and friends to spend eternity with his cherished wife of 71 years, Florence.

Marshall was predeceased by his son, Ralph French in 1993. Marshall will be lovingly remembered by his children, Roy (Diane),  Ross, Carrie (Ron) Kobus, Barb (Mark) Byrnes and daughters-in-law, Patricia (Ralph), Marilyn and Donna.


GREEN, Edward F. -  October 7, 1939 - April 27, 2017

Ed will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years Margaret (Costie) Green and his three children Edward (Silena) Green, Theresa (Edward) Szpytma, Susan (Todd) Kearney. CARSON, Richard (Rick) Bradley -   January 21, 1975 - April 27, 2017, age 42. 

It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Richard (Rick) Bradley Carson.

Rick was a loving son to Bill and Penny Carson, cherished brother to Jeff (Cindy) and sweet uncle to Tyler and Josh Carson. Rick also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Predeceased by his brothers Petar, Ivan, Mate and his sisters Manda, Matija, Marija and Andja.  Will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, family and friends in Canada, Croatia, Australia and New Zealand. 

Milan was retired from Dominion Glass after 34 years, longtime member of Croatian National Home and CFU Lodge 644.

Albert and Elaine and Bill Cranston of Selkirk.  Also survived by nieces and  nephews.

Iris is survived by her 3 children Wayne Downie, Brian Downie, and Beverley Harris ( William ) also by her Sisters, Lorna Measure of Trail B.C., Edna Berry of Las Vegas N.V. and Viola Howe of Arlington V.G.

Iris was predeceased by her Husband Kenneth Downie of York ON, Brothers Lindsay Hamilton of Shellbrook S.K.,  Delbert Hamilton of Shellbrook S.K. Sisters, Cora Kaiser of Trail B.C. , Bertha Koppang of Shellbrook S.K. Iris was born August 21, 1917 in Shellbrook S.K. to her parents, Robert and Irene Hamilton.


HEW, Rex - Rex Hew of Hamilton at the age of 86, on Tuesday April 25, 2017, died peacefully after a brief illness.  

Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica and migrated to Canada in 1975.  He resided in Hamilton for the last 17 years.


LEPAGE, Melvin - After a long and happy life (his own words) Mel passed away at home in his 89th year, April 25, 2017.

He was a devoted husband and best friend to Moira (nee Corbett) for over 59 years. Dear father of Karen, Michael and Gary. Blessed with seven grandchildren, Tara, Melanie, Kristina, Scot, Richard, Alex and Victoria; three great-grandchildren Carter, Lucas and Beckett.

Cherished wife of the late Peter Haverkamp (2008).  Beloved mother and grandma of Wilma and Jim Wiersma of St Williams (Brenda and Justin, Brad, Phil and Ashley, Ian and Cali), Anita and Pieter Zijlstra of Beamsville (Brian, Janice and Brady), Eric and Adele Haverkamp of Simcoe (Jerilee and Mark, Brooke and Steven, Lance and Laney, Chad and Karisa), Yolanda and John DeVries of Dorchester (Chantel, Cole).  Grandma Willy will be sadly missed by her 9 great-grandchildren:  Brynn, Aubrey, Averie, Josephine, Ethan, Olivia, Kendall, Miles, and Michael. 


MILKO, Frederick “Butch” - Passed away peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the age of 77.

Butch devoted his entire life to his children and family. Crawford AlanCRAWFORD, Alan Arthur - Passed away peacefully and unexpectedly on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the age of 71.

Al will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Sharon, daughters Lorrie (Chris), and Sandi (Dan), and grandchildren, Aedric, Elijah, Annalise, Levi, and Miriam.

Affectionately known as Joe, he is survived by sisters Lyn and Vicky. Predeceased by his brothers Peter and Paul.

Mr. Crawford will be remembered as a music teacher at Flamborough Centre and Spencer Valley, a hockey goalie, avid golfer and bridge player, a winter Texan, and a proud member of the United Empire Loyalists.
