ELLIOTT, Marjorie Caroline (Forbes) - Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital at the age of 86.
Born in Fredericton, New Brunswick on May 9, 1931 to Carrie and Ray Forbes, Marjorie is predeceased by sisters, Nancy, Eva (Gillies) and brother Ray.
Marjorie will be fondly remembered by her husband, George Elliott, her five children, Phillip (Sandra), Peter (Melissa), Betsy (Ken), Chris (Kim), Trisha (Martin) and brother Eric Forbes (Debra).
She will also be dearly remembered by her eleven grandchildren, great granddaughter and many loving nieces, nephews, stepfamily, and friends near and far.
MCKNIGHT, Lois Burl - It is with great celebration that we announce that God opened heaven’s door for Lois Burls McKnight on February 2, 2018 in Belleville, Ontario at the age of 84 years.
Lois grew up in Norfolk, NY and attended Houghton College, Houghton NY. She married and immigrated to Canada where she lived in Brockville, Ottawa and Trenton, Ontario. She taught school in Massena, NY and at Trenton Christian School, Trenton, ON.
She dedicated her life to raising her children and faithfully serving her Lord and Saviour. Lois lived this out through children’s and overseas missions ministries as well as obediently sharing her faith and God’s grace with her children and grandchildren and with those she encountered in daily life. She truly enjoyed God’s creation and would spend time outdoors gardening, camping, walking and sharing this joy with her family.

STEVENSON, Edna Irene (formerly Henderson) - A former resident of Belleville, Edna passed away peacefully on Feb 1, 2018 in Midland in her 96th year.
Edna married Norman Henderson in 1944 and after his passing, married Albert Stevenson.
She will be remembered for her paintings of landscapes, buildings and other landmarks.
Active for many years in the Quinte Arts Council and Belleville Art Association, she enjoyed sewing, camping, golf, bowling, travel, and reading.
FARRAR, Douglas Edwin - 26 April 1948 - 01 February 2018 - It is with heavy hearts we are saddened to share that Douglas Farrar, a much loved "man about town", passed away suddenly at his home on February 1, 2018. He was in his 70th year.
He was the loving youngest son of the late Bernard and Edith Farrar.
Doug was a very devoted brother to Maureen, Bill (Maureen Duval-Farrar), and was predeceased by his two brothers Murray (Lynn Felker) and Bernard, and his sister Bernice (Eugene Nichols).

He is survived by his wife Sybil Anne (McLeaming) and sons Mark (Vera) of Wasaga Beach, Mike, and Scott (Melanie) of Lansdowne.
Gerry is also survived by his grandchildren Megan, Shannan, and Tyler.
He is predeceased by his son Richard (Rick) and his parents Emily and Bill Desjardins.
Gerry played hockey as a forward for the Belleville OHA team in the late 1940's and early 50's and was labelled as "one of the most outstanding players in the group". He was a printer by trade starting at an early age.
