Moynes MarkMOYNES, Mark Allan - July 14, 1961 - January 18, 2018 - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mark Moynes on January 18, 2018.

Mark had many passions in life including officiating hockey, scuba diving, Information Technology and Nascar racing.

He held many titles throughout his lifetime, but none made him prouder than the title of “Dad”.

Pre-deceased by his father, the late Blake Moynes and survived by his daughter Lisa (Ryan Beaulieu), his son Kyle, his daughter Megan, the mother of his children Estelle Gauthier and his companion Janine Empey.

 

Carmichael RandCARMICHAEL, Rand - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Randy Carmichael on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at home surrounded by family in his 65th year.

Son of the late Arnold Carmichael and Muriel Carmichael-Grimson (Ed).

Survived by dear wife Jan Carmichael (nee Saville).

Beloved father to Taylor Carmichael and Cody Carmichael (Talhi).

Brother of Larry (Judy), Ray (Nancy), Mary Anne (John), Pat, Robert (Nancy), Cathy, Steven (Sue), Ted (Patty), and Terry (Kim).

 

SIBLEY, Kenneth James - Passed away peacefully at Quinte Health Care North Hastings Hospital, Bancroft, on January 18, 2018.

Ken Sibley age 83, was the beloved father of Philip (Darlene) of Cardiff, Michael of Maynooth, Dianne MacDonald (Stewart) of Burleigh Falls and Charles “Joe” (Cavelle) of Cardiff.

Grandfather of Elyse, Zackary, Cortney, Kacy, Matthew, Jennifer, Curtis and several great grandchildren. 

Predeceased by his brothers Carl and Eldon and sisters Evelyn and Viola.

 

MILLER, Lynn Helen (nee Couroux) - Passed away peacefuly at home surrounded by family in Trenton, Ontario on January 18, 2018.

In her 56th year, Lynn leaves behind her children, Joshua and Brianna, stepdaughter Courtney (Tesmond), her parents Edmund and Helen, her sister Marie and extended family of Jay and Susanne.

She was predeceased by her brother, Ray.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers who supported Lynn in her long battle with cancer, especially Carol Trumbley.

HOLLIDAY, Rose Brown (nee Martin) – March 8, 1935 – January 16, 2018.

Born Glasgow, Scotland. Rose lived a fun and full life. Her passions were her family, friends and figure skating.

Constantly talking about her grandsons Bradley Thomas and Coleman Edward Holliday and doting in conversation over her great-grandson Gage Holliday.

Rose will be missed by many as she befriended people of all ages, young and old.

 

Walker MoWALKER, Morrison Ramsey (nee Kyle) - October 1, 1919 - January 15, 2018 - Morrison died peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital on January 15, 2018 in her 99th year.

Born in Skelmorlie, Scotland, she often recalled happy memories of her early life. The River Clyde was a major base for Allied naval ships in World War II and one day she agreed to guide a Canadian sailor, a family acquaintance who was stationed there, through Glasgow to meet his aunt. Not much impressed at their first meeting, on further acquaintance she fell in love with his laughing eyes and in November 1946 sailed on the RMS Queen Elizabeth to marry Alexander Walker in Canada.
