ELLIS, Macdonald Walter “Mac” - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Macdonald at his residence in Belleville on Friday, September 9, 2016 at the age of 69.

Son of Kathrine (nee Winter) and the late Harry Ellis.

Loving father to Cindy Tripp (Dennis) of Alberta, Darren Tripp, and Todd Tripp (Donna).

Pre-deceased by his children Peter Tripp and Kelly Tripp.

Survived by daughter-in-law Kim of Belleville, sisters Betty Parr (Bob), Nancy Legacy, Marion Sowa (Mark) and brothers Ted Ellis (Sheila), Jim Ellis (Brenda).

He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Blue, Desiree, Ann and great-grandchildren Logan, Haley, Shayla and Taylor.

Mac was a 30 year employee of Glanmore National Historic Site.

In keeping with Mac’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, Belleville on Monday, September 19th from 7:00 – 9:00p.m. Memorial service will be held at the Eastminster United Church, 432 Bridge St. E., Belleville on Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at 11:00a.m. Rev. Frank Hamper officiating. Macdonald’s ashes will be interred in Belleville at a later date.

If desired, donations to the Brain Tumor Foundation Canada would be appreciated by the family.
