Stacey JoanSTACEY, Joan Leona (Stapley) - Of Saint-Jerome, Quebec, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, at CISSS St-Jerome, Quebec, September 8, 2016, in her 83rd year.

She was born November 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Gerald Stapley and Elizabeth Cole.

Mrs. Stacey was born and a long time resident of Trenton, Ontario. She had recently moved to Saint-Jerome, Quebec to live with her daughter Mrs. Doreen Laraby and her son in law Mr. Normand Turcotte.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Samford Laraby, her second husband, Mr. Peter Stacey, her sons, Wayne Laraby and Ronald Laraby, sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her children, Linda Pearson, Gerald Laraby, Margaret Laraby, Douglas Laraby and wife Mary, Doreen Laraby and husband Normand Turcotte, Bruce Laraby; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the Trenton West Chapel, Trenton from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016, to remember and celebrate Mrs. Stacey’s life.
