Globe RonGLOBE, Ronald Keith “Ron” - Dedicated Special Constable with Belleville Police Services and Volunteer Firefighter with Quinte West Station #2, Avid Scuba Diver and Master Instructor. Ron strived to "make a difference" everyday.

Passed away peacefully in his wife’s arms at their home on Monday, October 3, 2016 in his 56th year.

Dear son of Jeanette Globe and the late “Pete” Globe.

Beloved husband and true love of Carolyn Jean Shorten.

Loving stepfather to Thomas Lough. Ever remembered by father in law Rev. Dr. Lloyd Shorten, the late Marion Shorten and sister in law Mary Ruth Begbie. Dear brother to Brian, Margie Ann, Donna, David, and Ken. Sadly missed by his beautiful goddaughters Danielle, Brianna, Abigail and Alexandra.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 11th at the Burke Funeral Home, Belleville from 2-4 pm. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 12th at 3 pm. Visitation prior to the service from 1 – 2:45 pm.

If desired donations to Canadian Cancer Society - Esophageal Cancer Research would be appreciated.
