Milroy BrianMILROY, John "Brian" - (Lt. Col. Ret'd) - Passed away with family by his side, at his residence on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 in his 78th year.

Son of the late Gwen and Ed Milroy.

Beloved husband of Elizabeth Mitchell and the late Stella Milroy.

Dear father to Colin Milroy (Marcie) and Peter Milroy (Janice).

Ever remembered by grandchildren Derek and Kira Milroy and his brother Neil Milroy (Janet).

Brian served in the Hastings & Prince Edward Regiment for over 20 years, retiring as Commanding Officer in 1984. After retiring as Director of Engineering at Lab-Volt, Brian went to North Island College, Campbell River, B.C. where he set up a new program in Industrial Electronics and taught the course for 10 years.

Friends are invited to visit at the Burke Funeral Home, Belleville on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Memorial Service will take place at St. Thomas' Anglican Church on Monday, March 20th, 2017 at 11:00 am. with visitation at the church 1 hr prior to service.

Memorial donations to St. Thomas' Anglican Church would be appreciated.
