Son of the late George Robert and Emily May Lane. Born in Hambledon, Surrey, England.

Loving brother to Irene May Quinto and the late Gordon Roger Lane.

Predeceased, in 1988, by his wife of 45 years Phyllis Louise (Royle). Also predeceased by daughter in law Barbara Lane, son in law Earl Derbyshire and granddaughter Cher Lynn Derbyshire.

Bob is survived by his family, John of Belleville, Dennis (Debbie) of Regina, Saskatchewan, Linda of Whitehorse, Yukon, Eric (Dale) of Belleville, Kathy (Ken) of Brighton, Karen (Steve) of Belleville and Ted of Belleville.

Grandchildren Valerie, Ryan, Tyler, Ken, Michelle, Suzanne and Brian. Great grandchilren Chase, Landon, Liam, Chloe, Amber and Rachel.

Friends are invited to visit at the Burke Funeral Home, Belleville on Sunday, April 9th, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army Community Church 290 Bridge St. West, Belleville on Monday, April 10th, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hr prior to service. Reception to follow at the Salvation Army Community Church Hall with Interment at Belleville at a later date.

Memorial donation to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
