WANG (Ling), Kay Chung - Mme Ling passed away April 5, 2017, at Montreal General Hospital, in her 85th year.

Kay was born March 25, 1932 in Taichung, Taiwan. She was educated in both Chinese and Japanese. While growing up in Taiwan she heroically saved her brother's life during WWII.

She was united in marriage to Ko-Ching Ling in 1954, an electronic/aviation engineer. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2017. They were married for 63 years.

A devoted mother, Kay was the most excellent cook and took joy in sharing the fruits of her labour. She was a great supporter of her husband's ambitions and followed him to Africa in 1963 with a young family, and then to Canada in 1972. She delighted in the different cultures and societies. She had passion to travel. She worked in accounting for many years while living in Montreal. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son Dr. Herbert Ling (Kristina Stakenvicius), and daughters Nancy (Francis LeBlanc) and Mary. She had 5 grandchildren, Adrian, Jenna and Avery Ling; and Justin and Natasha LeBlanc.

The family will receive friends on Saturday April 15 from 3:30 pm to 5 pm at Rideau Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 4239 Sources Blvd, Dollard-Des Ormeaux, Quebec. Interment to be privately held in Belleville, Ontario, at a later date.
