Lindenberg WilliamLINDENBERG, William - WWII - It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of William (Bill) Michael Lindenberg in his 95th year on April 14, 2017.

Loving husband of the late Helen (nee Pacl), his soulmate, for 60 years.

Bill is survived by his children, Carl, Eric (Shirley) and Lise (Perry Poupore), grandchildren Ted, Helen and Ellie.

Born May 8, 1922 in Dubuque, Iowa, Bill was the youngest of 3 children. Over the course of his life, Bill, a WWII American Veteran, was passionate about music and audio.

Bill located his family in Belleville in 1970 and worked as a repair technician in the Radio and Television department at Loyalist College. He left Loyalist and started his own retail operation, Decibel Audio in 1980.

Bill was a great supporter of all his children, in-laws and grandchildren.

A true lover of laughter, William will be remembered for his fine whistling and keen sense of humour.

Visitation to be held at STEELE FUNERAL HOME, Belleville on Tuesday, April 18th from 2 to 4pm and 7 to 9pm. A private Funeral Service will be held at a later date.
