Pre-deceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Andy.

Dear Mother of Sheila (Mark) Gaudet of Belleville, Bill (Kathy) of Kingston, Brian (Karen) of Belleville and Brenda (Trevor) of Squamish, BC.

Loved deeply by her grandchildren Amanda, Kyle, Curtis, Dayna, Steven, Kaelin, Kailey, Teagan, Gavin and great-grandson Chad.

She will be sadly missed by her sister Verna, and brother Allan (Patricia) of Montreal.

Pre-deceased by her mother, Muriel Kennedy late of Montreal, Quebec.

Survived by brother-in-laws John Hearn and Dick Hearn (Norma), and sister-in-law Genevieve and by her many nieces and nephews.

Shirley was proud of her Pointe-Saint-Charles and Irish heritage, and enjoyed Irish music and dancing, and spending time with friends and family. After retiring from Sears, she enjoyed spending winters in Texas and summers at her trailer at West Lake.

Visitation will take place at Burke Funeral Home, Belleville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Belleville on Wednesday May 17th at 11 a.m.

If desired, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the Hastings Manor Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

A special thanks to the staff at Hastings Manor for the loving care and respect they showed to Shirley over the last several years.
