It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold “Hoppy” Hopkin of Foxboro on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Belleville General Hospital at the age of 85.

Harold is the son of the late William & Mary Hopkin (nee Derry) and the beloved husband for 53 years to Helen (nee Maracle).

Cherished father of Rhonda DeJong (Rob) of Stirling and Lynn Prest (Cecil) of Foxboro.

Harold is predeceased by his brothers Doug, Ronnie, Tommy and Carmen.

Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Jordan, Rawley (Kate) and Colby (Alex).

Predeceased by his grandson Taylor DeJong.

Mr. Hopkin is resting at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, Belleville on Friday, September 15th from 7-9 p.m. A Service in Celebration of Harold’s Life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at 11 a.m. with visitation for 1 hour before service. Cremation with private family interment at Stirling at a later date.

If desired, donations to St. Paul’s United Church, Stirling would be appreciated by the family.
