Vandervoort GoldieVANDERVOORT, Goldie Mae (Ingram) - Passed away peacefully at Crown Ridge Place on Tuesday January 9, 2018 in her 94th year.

Loving wife of the late Alex Vandervoort and the late Elvin Askey.

Cherished mother of Bruce Askey (Bonnie), Janice Sine (Steve) and the late Phyllis Hopkins (Mel).

Dear step mother of Joan Challenger (Mark), Grant Vandervoort (Jamie) and Ralph Vandervoort (Kerry).

Loving sister of Evelyn Draaistra and the late Lewis, Irvin and Joyce Marshall. The best grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt and friend of many.

Goldie will be lovingly remembered as a happy, fun-loving, gentle soul who loved to kick up her heels on the dance floor, a real country gal at heart. We miss you already.

The family would like to thank the Crown Ridge Nursing Home staff for their excellent care and support over the past three years.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Weaver Life Centre, Trenton on Monday January 15th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 PM, followed by a reception. Interment at Corbyville.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
