For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Lois Bruckshaw of Picton, at the age of 81.

Loved mother of Cheryl Westervelt (Alex), Brenda Beauchamp (George), John Harrington (Teresa), Mary Demille (Jamie) and the late Lois Marie McConkey.

Treasured by her grandchildren Angela, Janelle, Brian, Rachel, Robyn, Rayanne, Ashley, Jesse, Justine, Kaitlyn and the late Lesley and Rebecca.

Great- grandmother of Zoe, Liam, Johanna, Gwen, Alex and Ruth.

Dear sister of Mary Forrester. Wife of the late Jack Harrington, Brian Bruckshaw and Terry Williams.

Mrs. Bruckshaw is resting at the Whattam Funeral Home, Picton. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 pm and one hour prior to the service. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday February 14th, 2018 at 10:30 am. Pastor David Inch to officiate with spring interment.

If desired, donations may be made to the H.O.P.E. Centre or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
