For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Fuzzen IsabelFUZZEN, Isabel Sarah - After 102 years, passed away at the Bridge Street Retirement Residence on Friday, June 1, 2018.

Born and Raised in Toronto by Irish parents, Mary (White) and David Boyd.

Predeceased by brother William and sister Margaret.

She met her husband, Clarence D. Fuzzen (deceased) at an Anglican Young Peoples Association meeting in Toronto, married on June 17, 1939 and moved to Belleville.

She is survived by her three children Carol Greiner of Belleville, Lynne Coull of Niagara Falls and David Fuzzen (Marcelle) of Belleville.

She will be greatly missed by her 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Isabel loved arts and crafts and at one time or another tried everything from oil painting, leather work, pottery, crochet and knitting. She always had projects on the go. Isabel always brought a ray of sunshine into any room she entered.

Visitation for family and friends at the Burke Funeral Home, Belleville on Sunday, June 3rd from 4-7 pm. Service will be held from St. Thomas Anglican Church on Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11 am. Interment at Belleville.

Donations to St. Thomas Church, Children's Camps would be appreciated.
