For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Generwaux RoyGENEREAUX, Roy Norman - Peacefully passed away at the Crown Ridge Nursing Home on June 8, 2018 at the age of 87 years. He was surrounded by family in his last few days, caring and comforting him.

Roy will be missed by his wife Madeleine Genereaux of 18 years.

Father of Nancy, Roy Jr. (Shelley), John (Janette) and predeceased by Brian (Surviving wife Linda) and Bill.

Roy will be lovingly remembered by his step children; Carole (Dominic), Sylvie, Joanne (Keith), Andre, Claude (Annie) and Lise (Glenn).

Proud Poppa to his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survived by his siblings; Gary (Margaret), Doug (Catherine), Les (Judy) and predeceased by his siblings; Ruth, Lois, Dorothy, Philip (surviving wife Lois) Gary ( Margeret) Doug( Catharine) and Les ( Judy).

At Roy's request cremation to take place. Family will receive friends at the Weaver Life Centre, Trenton on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 12:30 to 1:30 with Legion memorial service and funeral ceremony to follow at 1:30 pm. Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated by the family.
