macdonald JohnMACDONALD, John - (Resident of Haliburton, Ontario) - Peacefully at Haliburton Hospital on Monday morning, October 10, 2016 in his 89th year with his family by his side.

Beloved husband of Betty Macdonald. Loving father of Jeanette (Joe) of Burlington. Fondly remembered by his granddaughter Leigh.

Dear brother of Jessie of Scotland. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

John worked for Kodak Canada for many years. He enjoyed his retirement years in Haliburton, curling, square dancing, golfing and boating. He could fix almost anything, and loved the challenge.

Friends are invited to call at the Haliburton Community funeral home, 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton on Friday, October 21st from 10 o'clock until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 11 o'clock.  Reception to follow.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Haliburton Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family.
