Hobbins SusanHOBBINS, Susan Marie (nee McGahey) - After a courageous battle, Susan Hobbins (née McGahey) at the age of 64, was welcomed home to her parents, Lloyd and Leona McGahey’s loving arms on Thursday, October 20, 2016.

She is the cherished mother of Tennille Kirkpatrick (Kevin) and Kehly Hobbins (George) and the loving grandma of Avery, Maëlle and baby Moen – arriving March 2017.

Adored and loved by her sisters and brothers-in-law Bonnie Steele (the late Ralph) and Dorla Allan (Paul). Aunt Sue will be missed and remembered by all her nieces and nephews, as well as their families. Sue will be greatly missed by her partner Lou and her close friends, especially Candy and Patti.

Thank you to the Cancer Team, the staff of C6, G5 and Supportive Care at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa.

Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Susan’s life at the Mackey Funeral Home Chapel,  Lindsay on Thursday, October 27th at 1:30p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lakeridge Health Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
