Brown JimBROWN, James 'Jim' - (1934 - 2017) - Passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Toronto General Hospital with family and friends at his side.

Husband of Janet (Tangney), best friend of Dinah. Will be missed by dear friends Wendy, Kimberly, Krista and Kyle Morrissey, sisters-in-law Margaret Wansbrough and Marion Walden, niece Paula, nephews Jefferson, R. Joseph, Benjamin and Adam, and their families.

Owner of Brownie’s Menswear, active in Lindsay’s business community, captain and manager of Skylark tour boat, member of Kiwanis club and Canadian Power Squadron, avid boater, stellar cook, trusted friend.

In keeping with Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place.  Relatives and friends are invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill St., Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Tuesday, August 15 from 2-4 P.M.

Private interment later at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.

If desired, memorial donations to the Humane Society Kawartha Lakes or the Canadian Red Cross would be appreciated by the family.
