Beloved husband and best friend of Irene Houtby (nee Gough-Wormald). Loving stepfather of Larry (Irene) and David (Doug). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Thomas, Joseph, Robert and Taylor.

Dear brother of Gordon, Walter and William. Predeceased by his sisters Evelyn, Alma, Mabel, Louise, Helen and by his brother George, Harold, Edward and Arthur. Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Fred was an active gardener, woodworker and sports enthusiast of both the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Friends may call at the Haliburton Community funeral home, 13523 Hwy. #118, Haliburton, Ontario on Friday afternoon, September 22nd for Funeral Service at 2 o'clock. Visitation from one hour prior. Reception to follow. Interment later St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Haliburton Hospital Auxiliary or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
