Bill spent many years as the Vice President of Finance at Fruehauf Trailers.

Loving husband of the late Mary Veronica (Marsh) (d. 2003). Lovingly remembered by his sister Elsie Swaffield (the late Norris) and his nieces Barbara Forestell (Tom) and Shirley Swaffield, both of Guelph.

Mary (nee Quinn), born April 27, 1933, was the beloved wife of Robert (Bob).

Loving mother of Brian of Bowmanville, John (Babra) of Morinville, AB, Tracy-Colleen of Little Britain, Leon (Teresa) of Oshawa.

Treasured grandmother of Michael (Meghan), David, Adam, Andrew, Frances, and Brandan Loney. Great grandmother of twins Alida and Emmett Loney.

Predeceased by her son Neil, her parents and brothers. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.

 

PETERS, Beryl Beatrice - Passed away peacefully at the Highland Wood LTC, Haliburton on Friday, April 7, 2017, at the age of 95.

Wife of the late Edward L. Peters (1989).

Hardy MarjorieHARDY, Marjorie Ellen - (April 17, 1960 (Easter Sunday) - April 6, 2017) - Marjorie Hardy (nee Kirkpatrick) passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, after a hard-fought battle against cancer.

Beloved wife of Steve Hardy of Cameron.

Dearest daughter of Laurie (Sterling Frizzell) and Thomas (Marian Siminski). She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Tom (Xuemei Li), Kathleen (Ben Lamarche), Shona (Dino Del Grosso) and her sister-in-law, Nancy Kirkpatrick.

 

Gutteridge BobGUTTERIDGE, Robert Leslie 'Bob' - Passed away peacefully on April 6th, 2017 at the Ross Memorial Hospital at the age of 87.

Bob was the beloved husband of Carole, in their 58th year of marriage.

He was the cherished father of Allison Ann and the late Nancy Elizabeth. Loving father-in-law of Craig Lewallen.

Survived by brother Don and his wife Anne, sister Carol Macfarlane (and the late John Macfarlane), predeceased by brother David and survived by his wife Diane Gutteridge, and brother-in-law of Howard and Norma Stinson of Edmonton.

Beloved son of the late Theron and Hazel Blair.

Don was a teacher for many years in Belleville.

Scott SandraSCOTT, Sandra Elizabeth - (September 4, 1941 - April 2, 2017) - 

Passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, after a short battle with cancer.

She is survived by daughter Karen, ex-husband and friend Lloyd, brother Ted, sister Barbara and brother-in-law Pierre, and extended family. She will be greatly missed.

Sandra taught kindergarten for 30 years in Scarborough and Barrie.

 

Beer LindaBEER, Linda Karen Gertrude (nee Stubbings) - Our incredible wife, mother and grandmother passed away Saturday, April 1st, 2017 in her 64th year surrounded by her loved ones.

She was married to Peter Beer for 43 years, where her common sense and wisdom shone through. Her quiet strength guided us. Her children Jeffrey Beer (Charlotte) and Andrea Lalonde (Randy) and her grandchildren Kayla, Joshua, Levi and Evan experienced her love and selflessness every moment they were together.

Linda is predeceased by her father Vernon Stubbings (1997). She is survived by her mother Betty Stubbings (Bernard Craig), her brothers Paul Lywood (Carrie) and Ken Stubbings (Lynn), and her sister Cheryl Nugent (Wally).

 

OLIVER, Stephen William - (1953 - 2017) - Passed away suddenly in Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia on April 1, 2017.

Predeceased by his mother, Marian Oliver. Survived by his father James (Nancy); sisters: Doris (Murray) and Tori and niece, Elaine (Chris). Steve leaves behind his partner, Bonnie Miller; daughters: Angie (Corey) and Amy (Steven) and grandchildren, Jenna and Logan.

Studholme KeithSTUDHOLME, Keith - Keith passed peacefully in his Eagle Lake, Ontario home on Friday morning, March 31, 2017.

Keith and his family moved into the Eagle Lake School in 1982 and made it their home. Keith has been a resident of Eagle Lake ever since.

Castell TedCASTELL, Joseph Edward 'Ted' - In his 95th year, passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay, on March 30th, 2017.

Predeceased by his wife and best friend of 74 years, Jean Reynolds (2016). Also predeceased by his parents Joseph (1974) and Kate (1989) and his younger siblings Harry (2002) and Audrey (2010).

Survived by his daughters Barbra (Bob) Towey of Oshawa, Wendy Rynsoever of Oakville and Katherine Castell (Gary Hotrum) of Gravenhurst.

 

Dales BarryDALES, James 'Barry' - (March 28, 1935 – March 30, 2017) - James Barry Dales passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2017 with family by his bedside.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Joan. They were married for 56 years. Two sons, Ian (Krista) and Kevin (Caroline) and four cherished granddaughters, Sarah, Rachel, Shannon and Melody completed the family.

His brother Kenneth predeceased him in 2010. Survived by his wife Shirley and their children, Michelle and Stephen. Mary Lu MacDonald, his cousin from Halifax visited last summer. She brought pieces of family history to share and appreciate – it was a nostalgic time.

Beloved husband of the late Enid Wall (Morris) for over 62 years. Loving father of Patricia, Douglas and Ian (Nancy). Cherished grandfather of Kurt, Karen, Alison, Stephen, Gordon and Bryan and great grandfather of Tiana, Tierell, Elisha, Logan, Alexandra and Mila.

Predeceased by his granddaughter Julie, his brothers Peter, Reg, Allan and his sister Margaret (Peg). Also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Art had a wonderful career as a teacher with the Toronto Board Of Education.

Charles was an Engineer and worked for Magna and Litton Systems. He enjoyed making Champagne and could fix most anything.
