Ann Marie Vermette (Millan) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, October 20th, 2017, at the age of 83.
Mom said, “Please don’t be sad, shed no more tears, but remember me with fondness and happiness as I lived a happy life filled with love, family, friends and many precious memories."
TUCKER BRUMWELL, Joyce (Toner) - At age 85, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital.
She was predeceased by parents Bea and Bill Toner, and husbands Glen Tucker (1976) and Edward Brumwell (2008).
She will be greatly missed by her family, son Robert Tucker (Kathy); daughter Sylvia Densmore (Rhys); grand-daughter Erin Brown (Steve); grandson Tucker Densmore (Alex), great grandchildren Rhys Brown and Ronyn Brown; siblings Ross Toner (deceased), Gayle Topping, Chris Morton and Wilson Toner; and many additional family members and friends.
Joyce taught from 1955 - 1985 in Lennox and Addington, and Hastings County schools, positively influencing the lives of numerous students.

JOHNSON, James William 'Jim' - Died peacefully in his sleep October 17th, 2017, 10 days after his 77th birthday.
After years of health issues, Jim and his wife Bonnie recently relocated to Kingston to be closer to his daughters, Jana and Krista, and granddaughter Ayla. He was on a bit of an upswing, so his death was unexpected at this time, but going to sleep in your own bed and not waking up seems to be a blessing.
Jim was born outside of Thunder Bay, and was raised as a First Generation Canadian in Fort William; his mother being from England and his father from Sweden.
WEBBER, Michael Henry Fairfax, C.D. - BGen (Retired) - RC Sigs Michael Webber died peacefully at home in Ottawa, on Monday, October 16, 2017 in the company of family.
Michael was born in Kings Lynn, England, January 29, 1919, the only child of Harold Fairfax and Edith (nee Proctor) Webber. As an infant, he emigrated with his mother to Ottawa, rejoining his father who had preceded them as a returning World War I veteran. As the child of a career army officer he lived in Kingston, Toronto, Camp Borden, and finally back to Ottawa.
In 1937 Michael entered a four-year course of study at Royal Military College of Canada, cadet #2612, with the aim of pursuing a military career. In 1939 his studies were interrupted by the outbreak of World War II. He accepted a commission as Lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Corps of Signals.
