Purcell CarmelPURCELL, Carmel Elizabeth - Passed away at Providence Manor on Monday, March 20th, 2017 in her 96th year.

She is survived by her niece Mary Reid and her nephew Neil “Nick” Sears (the late June). Predeceased by her two brothers and four sisters.She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her numerous extended family and friends.

Carmel was a lifelong resident of Barriefield Village and a faithful parishioner of St. Mary’s Cathedral.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home – Central Chapel, 49 Colborne Street, Kingston on Saturday, March 25th from 11 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

Funeral Mass will follow in St. James’ Chapel at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 279 Johnson Street, Kingston at 1 p.m. Rite of Committal in St. Mary’s Cemetery will be followed by a reception at the funeral home.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
