WIECHNO, Jan 'John' - Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Saturday April 8, 2017, aged 102.

John was born in Poland on January 20, 1915, he is survived by his wife Peggy, his daughter Irene Morton (Late Bill) of Kingston, 2 grandsons Glenn Morton (Dina) of Kingston and Craig Morton of India and a great-granddaughter Nora.

John is survived by his step-daughters Mary Ellen Page (Art) of North Bay, Brenda Ranson (Peter) of Braeside, Penny Birtch (Lyle) of Gananoque, step-sons Terry Tedford (Kim) of Gananoque and Larry Tedford (Diana) of Branford. John is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his first wife Helen in 1975, his second wife Margaret in 1984, his parents Jan and Katarzyna (Wilemborer) Wiechno, a brother Frank and sisters Irene, Weadyslana and Bronislana.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday April 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

In memory of John, donations to Canadian Aid for Chernobyl would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. East, Brockville entrusted with the arrangements.
