De Jong WiebeDE JONG, Wiebe - Peacefully at Maple View Lodge Athens, on Wednesday April 19th, 2017. Wiebe De Jong age 94 years of Athens.

Beloved husband of the late Ruth De Jong (nee Kloosterman).

Loving father of Grace Smidstra (Henk) of Surrey, B.C., Greta Zandbergen (Cornelius), John De Jong (Ann), Peter De Jong  Joanna) all of Langley, B.C., Patricia Verwoerd (John) of Kelowna, B.C. and Shirley Van Drunen (Gary) of RR4 Athens.

Predeceased by one son Pieter De Jong of RR1 Delta.

Wiebe will be sadly missed by 22 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren.

Dear brother of Hiltje De Jong of Oostermeer, Netherlands and Frances Mulder of South Mountain. Also survived by a sister-in-law, Fay De Jong of Hope, B.C., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by 5 brothers and 3 sisters, Bouwe De Jong of the Netherlands, Gerrit De Jong of RR4 North Augusta, Sid De Jong of Hope, B.C., Jurjen De Jong of the Netherlands, John de Jong of Orillia, Susan Bosma of Emo, Ontario, Sietske Venema of RR1 Morrisburg, and Sietske De Jong (age 4) of the Netherlands.

Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Judson Funeral Home, Athens, on Sunday April 30th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at the Athens Christian Reformed Church on Monday May 1st, at 11 a.m. Interment Athens Cemetery.

In memoriams to The Bethel United Reformed Church, Maple View Lodge, or the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
