Babcock DoeBABCOCK, Doris 'Doe' (nee Whitmarsh) - Peacefully at Providence Care on Tuesday, January 9th, 2018, after a courageous battle with cancer, God answered Doe’s prayers and finally took her home to be with him.

Doe left behind her loving husband Ross, step children Steven (Robyn) and Timothy (Kirsten), step grandchildren Zachery, Travis, Katlyn, Natalie & Lucas and her cats Tabby & Willie.

Doe was the daughter of John and Bernice Whitmarsh of Westport. She is survived by her sisters Madalene Bell and Irene Young (Lyle) and predeceased by brothers Clarence, Allan, William, Donald, & Arden and sisters Enid, Audrey, Margaret, Ann, & Norma.

Doe was fond of all her nieces and nephews but had a special bond with her niece Karen Boese and Karen’s daughters Kaitlyn and Alexandra.

Doe was an active member of Emmanuel United Church in Odessa and will be missed by all her Christian brothers and sisters there.

The family will receive friends at the Paul G. Payne Funeral Home, 178 Main St., Odessa, Ontario on Friday, January 12th from 1-4 & 7-9 p.m.

Funeral Service at Emmanuel United Church (63 Factory St., Odessa) on Saturday, January 13th at 11 a.m., with visitation at the church one hour prior to service.

Memorial donations to Emmanuel United Church would be appreciated by the family
