We Regret to Announce That We Have Had to Discontinue

For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Sponsors are welcome to participate and suppor KingstonObituaries.com by advertising (i.e., local funeral centres, cemeteries, monument suppliers or local businesses, ...we would also include your Banners and Direct Links to your websites) – please  contact us for info!

Participating Funeral Centres will be prominently Featured; within their Region, and within the Obituary Notices, including Links redirecting viewers to your Websites.

We are continuing to publish notices to DurhamObituraies.com …  and also for now, TorontoObituaries.com and HaltonObituaries.com

Thank you for visiting our website.

We plan to have the 9 other Regional Websites back on-line soon!

Sherman MichaelSHERMAN, Michael Gordon - It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing to Michael Gordon Sherman on Thursday June 7th, 2018 at the Brockville General Hospital Charles St. Site at the age of 43.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Tamara, his daughter Isabella and son William.

Among those who will cherish his memory forever are his mother Carol Sherman Hubert (Gaetan) and the late Ralph Sherman; siblings Colleen Bant (Ron), Robert Sherman (Karen), David Sherman (Sara) and Lori McAlear; mother and father in-law Jennie and Tom Elliott; brothers in-law Brent (Kate) and Ross (Katie); as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Michael will forever be remembered as a kind and decent man.

He loved his family fiercely and was passionate in supporting the “Arts”.

As Production Coordinator at the Brockville Arts Centre for 15 years, he made the magic happen.

If you have ever seen a show at the BAC, you have experienced his incredible work.

Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville, on Monday or Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.  The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday June 12th, 2018 at 2 p.m.

In memory of Michael, donations to a Trust Fund to be set up for his children would be appreciated by family.
