For years, we have posted regional death notices as a free public service, while taking on the complete cost of publishing ourselves. We can no longer do so.

Without participating Funeral Centres, Cemeteries, Monument Suppliers and Local Businesses advertising with us, we can no longer run this website at a financial deficit.

We have received dozens of emails by folks upset at the discontinuation of our daily updates, and we apologize.  We also love this site, and considered it a great service to the public by accumulating and listing all Regional Obituaries in one spot.

Also, we appreciate the privacy to not contact the families of friends for funeral arrangements who may be shortly passing, as well as, friends not having to frequently check all local funeral centre websites for service information.

Young FrancisYOUNG, Francis Ray - Peacefully, at the Lennox and Addington County Hospital in Napanee on Sunday, June 10, 2018.

Francis Ray Young of Napanee at age 88.

Beloved husband of the late Jean Young and dear father of Patricia Hare (Garnet); Elizabeth Despres (Mike); Gary Young (Angela); Nancy Hart (Randy) and James Young (Jan York) of Napanee.

Also survived by several grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren.

Brother of Marguerite McCutcheon (late Roy) and Marion Kingston. Predeceased by his sister Madeline Holmes (Morley) and by his parents Perry and Clara Young.

Brother-in-law of Douglas Wales (late Beverly) of Tweed; Helen Powell (Jack) of Napanee; Leo Wales of Northbrook; Irene Storey (Bill) of St. Catherines; Jack and Floyd Wales of Tweed and the late Joy Asselstine; late Vernon and Robert Wales.

Cremation has taken place.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Salvation Army Church in Napanee, on Thursday, June 14 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations made to the Salvation Army of Napanee would be appreciated by the family.
