Beloved husband of Marjorie and dear father of Brant Davy (Ruth). Also survived by his two grandchildren Elise and Jake.

Predeceased by parents, father Herbert Arthur Sampson and mother Evelyn Grant Fuller.

Grant was a respected and admired member of Queen's Department of English from 1954 until his retirement in 1996.

Grant also served in the years 1965-87 as Director of the University's Performing Arts Office. In that role, he acted as a concert impresario, travelling often to New York City to engage the most prominent and promising artists to perform at Queen's.

She will be sorely missed by her adoring husband Andrew, her two sons, Iain (Peri), Andy (Diane) and her much loved grandchildren Andrew (Phoebe), Jamie (Lisa), Matthew (Sarah) and her “adopted” son Gregor (Debbie).

Margaret was a wonderful wife, lover and best friend to Andrew and guided and supported the family through all of their moves.

She was born in Aberdeen, Scotland to James and Mary Jane Gordon and educated in Aberdeen. In Canada (Kingston, Montreal and Toronto) she participated actively in Andrew’s Urological practice and was very active in the Kingston and Toronto Auxillary.

Meisner LarryMEISNER, Edward Lawrence 'Larry' - (June 9, 1949 - October 20, 2017) - While holding a picture of his grandson in his hand, and surrounded by his family at his bedside Larry passed away at the Kingston General Hospital.

Larry is survived by his wife Linda (nee Bawtinheimer) of 46 years his daughter Nancy, son Shawn, daughter-in law Melissa and his most precious grandson Payton.

He is the son of Edward (deceased) and Edna Meisner of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. He is survived by his sister Diane Fava of Keswick Ontario, brother Arnold of Eastville Col Co Nova Scotia, predeceased by brother Michael and half sister Kathleen Flynn. He will be remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Larry was a proud member of the Air Force for 31 years and also Legion member of branch 137 Napanee.
