TAMASAUSKAS, Algimantas 'Al' - Passed away peacefully at KGH on Monday, March 27th, 2017, a day before his 79th birthday.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Jurate, son Justin, brother Ray (Peggy) of Chicago, nephews Basil, Bradley (Georgia)), Andrew and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Gus and Aldona Hubbard.
Al was an accomplished architect, having worked both in Chicago and Toronto as a hospital planner. He was also an expert in Gothic Lithuania churches and published in the field.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she was an entrepreneur, world traveler, Neil Diamond fan, plant lover and an avid needle worker, still knitting until almost the last.

EARL, Mervyn Willard - Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the age of 83 years.
Mervyn was born in Oxford Station on January 13, 1934 to Willard and Mildred Earl. He worked for TD Bank and Guardsman Insurance prior to his retirement. Some of his hobbies include golf, badminton, bowling, gardening, boating on the St. Lawrence River and travelling. Mervyn was also a pilot and belonged to the Kinsman Club.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Stayner) Earl and his cherished daughter Lynda. He will be fondly remembered by his brothers Allan (Ruth), Gordon (Rhoda) and Winston (Wendy and by his sister Jean (Eldon) Thompson. He was predeceased his son David Earl.

VANDENBELT, Julia Mary - Julia passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Providence Manor, on Friday, March 24, 2017 in her 72nd year.
Julia leaves behind John, her best friend and cherished husband of nearly 53 years; her loving children Phil Vandenbelt, Tanja Vandenbelt and Tara Hartman (Ryan). She was the treasured Oma of Kali, Ethan and Alex.
Julia is survived by her siblings Gerald Wooff, Gail Kilmartin (Pat) and Annette Sargusingh, and was predeceased by her beloved mother Marguerite (Nan) Wooff, who she is reunited with once again.
Julia was born in Liverpool, NS in October 1944 and moved to Ottawa in the early 1960’s where she met and married the love of her life. In 1968, they moved to Amherstview, where together they raised their family. Julia and her husband John were the co-founders of J&J Hardware and Cycle Shop which they ran together for nearly 25 years before selling to the current owner.

She started her life together with Stewart in Manchester, UK, returning to London, Ontario to raise a family after he accepted a position at Victoria General Hospital as a Radiation Oncologist, eventually moving to Kingston in 1970 as the Head of the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre.

Born in Stonewall, Manitoba and raised in New Denver, British Columbia, Carl studied veterinary medicine at the University of Guelph where he met his life partner and classmate, Anne (neé McLeish). Carl practiced in Toronto and Brooklin, Ontario before opening his own practice in St. Catharines.
In retirement (Niagara-on-the-Lake, followed by Kingston in 2004), Carl pursued his interests in heritage restoration of limestone dwellings, landscaping and music.
