Doreen (nee Wilson), predeceased by her husband Armand (Joe) and her youngest daughter Bonnie Larmon (David). Survived by son Michael Boucher (Janet) of St. Joseph Island, ON, daugher Leslie Allan (Jeff) of Kingston, ON and grandsons Joseph (Joey) Boucher and Kenneth (Kenny) Allan.

Survived by her sister Freda Tripp (Robert) and predeceased by sisters Rhoda Fleming and Maxine Orbell. Remembered by her nieces and nephews.

Jaansalu AntsJAANSALU, Ants - Ants passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday August 19th, 2017.

Ants was born in Tallin Estonia on November 6th, 1939. In 1944 the family escaped from Estonia to Germany where they were taken in by a farming family until moving on to refugee camps.

The family emigrated to Canada in 1949, first settling in Rolphton, Ontario where his dad worked for Ontario Hydro. After several moves, the family finally settled in Brockville Ontario.

DuPont Canada awarded Ants a scholarship to attend the Hamilton Institute of Technology where he graduated with a degree in Dyeing and Chemistry. Following graduation, Ants moved to Kingston to work for DuPont. He met his wife Carol and they married in September 1965.

He will be missed by his brother Paul (Wendy), nephews Rick (Natalie) and Michael (Marcia). John was predeceased by his parents Burt and Bertie Grass, his brothers Richard and Doug and his much loved Aunt Margaret and Uncle Don Grass.

Beloved husband of the late Alice Rose Braithwaite (Peg) whom he adored for over 50 years. Affectionately remembered by his step daughter Brenda and step son Nigel.

Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tom, Jack, Vanessa, Virginia, Melanie and Russell and by his nieces and nephews.

Crawford ArnoldCRAWFORD, Arnold Howard - Passed away peacefully at Carlingview Manor Thursday August 17, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 93.

Arnold was born June 21, 1924, on the family farm in Marlborough Township, just north of Kemptville. The eldest of six children born to Howard Crawford and his wife Olive Ralph, Arnold learned to take on responsibility at an early age when his father died in 1936 at the age of 41.

As the oldest, Arnold took on the role of man of the house, organizing his brothers and sisters to help get the chores done on the family farm until his mother decided that she could make a better home for her family in Kemptville a few years later.


Dow WayneDOW, Wayne - Age 71, from Silver Lake, Ontario, suddenly went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 17th, 2017.

He is survived by his wife Judith Dow, children Craig (Erin) Dow and Juliana (John) Dow, grandson Nathaniel Dow, brothers David (Allison) Dow and Daniel (Joan) Dow, and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews.

His extended family included staff and students of Sharbot Lake High School where he taught science for 36 years, the community of Silver Lake Wesleyan Camp, and the congregations of local churches.
