Mills GarrettMILLS, Garrett Harrison - Passed away suddenly on Friday, May 12th, 2017.

Garrett was a shining light whose greatest desire was to brighten the lives of those he encountered in his everyday life. His positive attitude towards everything and everyone was an inspiration to the many who knew him.

Garrett was born on February 27th, 2002 in Winnipeg, MB. His favourite things to do were spending time with family, friends and his dog Roscoe. Garrett loved nature, biking, and take afternoon walks along the boardwalk. Garrett was also an avid video gamer, but true to his nature he never played anything violent.

Garrett had great aspirations for his future with an interest in becoming a professional photographer. More than that, he expressed many times how he wanted to make a difference in the world. He was a natural peacemaker. He could never understand why people or nations had difficulty in co-existing.

Beloved companion of Arthur Vogel. Mother of Sharon Lazaruk, and her son Bruce Lazaruk, both of B.C.

Survived by 2 half-brothers and one half-sister, Earl Dillabough (Marlene), Jack Dillabough (Jan) and Shirley Tobin all of Prescott. Also survived by a brother-in-law, Jim McDougall of Amherstview. Predeceased by 3 sisters, and one half-brother, Hilda Olmstead of Jasper, Edith Johnston, Muriel McDougall both of Brockville and Garnet Dillabough of Prescott.

David is also survived by Sandy’s children, Damon Bennett (Chana Mayer) and Jesse Bennett (Lisa) all of Toronto. Step-grandfather to Justyn, Jasmin and Jayden Bennett.

It is with sad hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Adelaide (Addie) Nesterenko on May 10, 2017.

Addie was born in Sydney, N.S. on November 20, 1927 to the late George and Lavina (Frost) Ferguson and was one of 11 children.

She will be forever loved and missed by her daughter, Heather and husband Bill Machan of Skootamatta Lake, ON. Her grandchildren; Michelle (Gary) and Sarah (Geoff), great-grandchildren; Noah, Ethan, Will, Leah, Ellena and several nieces and nephews.

Beloved wife of the late John Phillips. Loving mother of Alan (Debbie), Mark (Gayle), Jacqueline (Derrick) and Marianne. Loving Grandmother of Connor, Marshall, Morgan, Vaughn, Evan, Don, Tabitha, Victoria and Jack.

Della is predeceased by her parents John and Elizabeth Wright, and by her brothers and sisters, William John (late Glenna), Emma (late Earl), Cecil (late Grace), Edna (late Lorne), Charles, Josephine (late Jack), and James. She is survived by her closest friend, cousin and sister in spirit, Norma Noakes, of Brockville and Calgary, and sister-in-law, Shirley Wright of Blind River.

 

Beach ShirleyBEACH, Shirley Edith(January 7, 1925 - May 9, 2017) - Cherished wife and “Tender Comrade” of the late Reginald Beach (2000), and devoted mother of Noel and Margaret Beach of Brantford, Allyson James and Glen Beemer of Perth Road, and the late Maureen Beach (2002) of Sudbury.

She will be sadly missed by her grandsons, Jeffrey of Brantford, and Andrew and his fiancée Alecia DeBoeck of Brantford, and her sister-in-law Phyllis of Kanata.

She was the daughter of Annie (née Marchant) and William Chivers of Winnipeg. She was also predeceased by her brothers Robert and William; and son-in-law Lanny James of Howe Island.

Shirley worked in newspaper, radio, television, and hospital administration before operating her own business in Sudbury. She also served in the Canadian Army Reserve as a C.W.A.C. officer.

With heavy hearts, our family announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt; Eileen, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Providence Care Hospital, with her family at her side.

Eileen was predeceased by her beloved husband James Ralph, her parents Leo and Irene (Leeder) Dundon, brothers Hubert (WWII age 24), Cecil (late Marion), Robert (late Gwen) Dundon, Abe Dundon, by brothers-in-law Earl (late Elsie), Eddie (late Mary), Paul, by sisters-in-law Edith (late Doug), June (late Ernie) and granddaughter-in-law Marsha Dorey.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his sister Ann McAndrews (the late Dale), his sister-in-law Lois McKeown, nieces Cathy (Paul), Debbie, Marcella (Guy), his nephew Daniel and several great-nieces and nephews. He will also be dearly missed by his two four-legged “boys.”
